Coordination & Hosting Specialist
Department: Guest Experience
The Coordination & Hosting Specialist will work with the Director of Guest Experience to lead the process of coordinating with groups before their arrival and interacting with groups upon arrival. The ideal person will be an expert on the group coordination software and will be able to assist all guest group leaders with any questions that arise, listen to the guest’s needs, and help the department create a good experience for each group. This person will communicate with group leaders, professionally answering phones and emails. They will have general knowledge of the camp program. This person will be responsible for modeling a genuine lifestyle of Christian discipleship in a manner consistent with Carolina Creek’s mission, vision, and values.
Responsibilities include
Responsible for the process of coordinating details with group leaders year-round for programmed retreats
Knowing and understanding how Carolina Creek operates and ensuring guest experience aligns with the mission of the institution
Hearing the needs of groups and translating those needs in a way to create a positive experience, reflecting Christian hospitality
Assist with Accounting in the processing of payments for groups
Be an expert in the group coordination software, and helping group leaders successfully develop their schedules and experience
Answering questions from group leaders in a professional manner
Assist the Guest Experience department in creating SOPs relevant to the department
Assisting in all things related to the Guest Experience department

Creative Project Manager
Department: Creative Services
As the Creative Services Project Manager, you’ll work with exceptionally gifted and creative team members and mission-driven clients to create assets and tell stories through social media, stage productions, immersive programmed experiences and adventures, digital platforms, video venues, fundraising, traveling booths, environment creation, navigation, and more. Essentially serving as the team’s “Air Traffic Controller”, you’ll ensure that projects and requests are done on time, within budget, and all with the purpose of helping people experience and know the love of Jesus.
Responsibilities include
- Serve as the Creative Services point of contact when meeting with clients to articulate goals, define the win and establish timelines for projects
- Develop comprehensive project plans to be shared with clients as well as other staff members
- Act as “Air Traffic Controller,” managing incoming and outgoing requests and updates
- Working with team members to stay on track with deadlines and deliverables
- Coordinate internal resources and third parties/vendors for the execution of multiple projects
- Ensure that all projects are delivered on time, within the scope and budget
- Assist in the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant internal stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
- Ensure resource availability and allocation

Information Technology Specialist
Department: Creative Services
You will serve as the lead engineer, strategist and agent for technology solutions used by Carolina Creek. We are looking for a strategic, critical thinker who plans for the future and implements holistic solutions that solve felt needs by users. Digital Services support for Carolina Creek include, but are not limited to on-site network planning, implementation and triaging, ISP relations, workstation management, user access and accounts, data security and management, data backup management, software evaluation, support and training, IP phone system management, printer and peripheral support, and website technical maintenance and management.
Responsibilities include
Ensure the network for Carolina Creek is always up, maintained and strategic implementations are applied
Serve as technical support utilizing our ticketing solution to provide timely solutions for users
Manage relations with our ISP to ensure minimal downtime and proper expedient issue resolution when needed
Manage, deploy and support workstations for all users and ensure a healthy life-cycle of workstation equipment
Issue, revoke and audit user accounts on the Active Directory and Google Workspace for users
Maintain data security standards and management; ensure nightly backups are executing and prevent data loss, malware, ransomware, brute force attacks or virus threats.
Support software/cloud-base solutions currently used by Carolina Creek, provide on-site training and support, and support the process of sourcing, vetting, onboarding and training new solutions.
Manage the on-site phone system by maintaining accurate phone trees, extension guides, office hours, call routing and supporting users.
Support users to best utilize peripherals such as printers and scanners to seamlessly integrate with their workstation and workflows.
Maintain peripherals, manage life-cycle rotations and ensure the dependability of devices.
Maintain the digital presence of Carolina Creek on the web ensuring proper data practices, uptime, technical implementations and by working with Carolina Creek digital marketing and web engineers.

Part-time Facilities Grounds Specialist
Department: Facilites

As a member of the Facilities Department, you will work alongside our talented facilities team to help create a welcoming and picturesque environment for all guests throughout the Carolina Creek property. This person will help provide campers with a safe and fun environment through the facilitation of the grounds. Additionally, this person is responsible for helping create a space where they can take one step closer to Jesus by trying new activities and facing their fears. Carolina Creek is looking for someone passionate about our mission and desires to invest their time in ministry.
Responsibilities include
- Responsible for lawn care duties as assigned by supervisor, including mowing, weed eating, etc.
- Assist in other facilities projects as needed.
- Provide general upkeep and cleanliness of all activity sites as well as camp property.

- Must be 18 years of age or older.
- Must have a current valid driver’s license.

- Must be able to be CPR and First Aid Certified

Part-time Housekeeping Specialist
Department: Guest Experience
Do you enjoy preparing a clean and beautiful place for guests to enjoy? Are you hospitable and welcoming towards others? The Part-Time Housekeeper will work with the Guest Experience Team Lead to help all guests at Carolina Creek experience and know the love of Jesus. This person will clean dining halls, cabins, lodges, and meeting rooms. Carolina Creek is looking for someone who is passionate about our mission and desires to invest their time in ministry.
Responsibilities include
- Execute the cleaning of all facilities including dining halls, cabins, meeting rooms, lodges, and offices.
Education
- Must have a current valid driver’s license. (Or the ability to gain a driver’s license within 90 days of hiring.)
- High School Degree or equivalent is preferred but not required.

- Previous professional housekeeping experience preferred but not required
Part-time Adventure Recreation Specialist
Department: Program
Do you enjoy the outdoors and leading others through a memorable experience? Are you friendly and open to others? The Adventure Recreation Specialist helps provide campers with a safe and fun environment, through the facilitation of activities. This person is responsible for helping create a space where guests can take one step closer to Jesus by trying new activities and facing their fears.
Responsibilities include
- Facilitate challenge course, zip line, and other adventure activities with campers and adults of all ages
- Facilitate general recreation areas such as disc golf, target sports, field games, etc.
- Fill in as needed in other activity areas when ropes activities are not active
- Safely instruct all adventure elements
- Provide general upkeep and cleanliness of all activity sites as well as camp property
- Assist the program team in the nightly programs (dependent on camp center)
- Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more
Education
- Current valid driver’s license preferred.
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred.
- Must be able to pass camp-specific adventure facilitation training.

Part-time Boat Driver
Department: Program
Boat Drivers create a memorable experience for campers to laugh, challenge themselves and enjoy God’s creation, while facilitating a fun and safe environment for campers to enjoy being on the water, experiencing nature and tubing.
Responsibilities include
- Position is responsible for the safety of all staff and guests on and around boating and Cable park activities
- Help facilitate campers’ experiences in wakeboarding, zup boarding, and recreational tubing
- Maintain cleanliness of boats, vehicles, equipment, docking areas, and cable park area
- Inspect vehicles and equipment daily, and report any safety or maintenance issues promptly
- Facilitate and lifeguard water activities with campers and adults of all ages
- Facilitate swimmer safety at all water related activities
- Fill in as needed in other activity areas when waterfront activities are not active
- Assist the program team in the nightly programs (dependent on camp center)
- Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more

Part-time Bus Driver
Department: Operations
Do you enjoy driving and bringing others through a memorable experience? Are you friendly and open to others? Carolina Creek is looking for local people to safely transport guests and staff during our summer programs.
Responsibilities include
- Ensure that all laws and regulations are followed in regard to the safe transportation of guests and staff in Carolina Creek’s buses.
- Help with the upkeep and cleanliness of buses.
- Help ensure that buses are in good mechanical order, and report any maintenance, or other issues as they arise.
- In the summer, transport campers and staff to Carolina Creek’s Lake Livingston property in Point Blank, wait for the boating activities to be completed, and transport them back to the camp.
- Support staff members with camper discipline and emergency management on bus trips if needed.
Education
- Must be 18 years of age or older
- Must have a current valid Texas commercial drivers license (CDL) adequate to allow them to legally operate a vehicle with 16 or more passengers
Experience
- Previous experience in transporting children in buses is strongly preferred
Part-time Aquatics
Department: Program
The Aquatics Specialist helps provide campers with a safe and fun environment, through facilitation of activities. Responsible for helping create a space where they can take one-step close to Jesus, by trying new aquatics activities and facing their fears.
Responsibilities include
- Facilitate and lifeguard water activities with campers and adults of all ages
- Facilitate swimmer safety at all water related activities
- Safely instruct all elements and perform water rescues if necessary
- Provide general upkeep and cleanliness of all activity sites as well as camp property
- Fill in as needed at other activity areas when waterfront activities are not active
- Assist the program team in the nightly programs (dependent on camp center)
- Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more
Education
- 18 years of age or older is preferred
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent preferred
- A current valid drivers license is preferred
- Must be able to pass the Red Cross Lifeguard Certification Class

Counselor In Training
Department: Program
Counselors In Training will live in a cabin with a group of campers, where they have the opportunity to build intentional relationships with each camper to help them experience and know the love of Jesus. Counselors in Training are responsible for assisting the Counselor in all daily tasks. They will help provide a safe environment for campers, while modeling a personal relationship with Jesus.
High School Students ages 16-17 are eligible.
Responsibilities include
- Live in the cabin with campers during their stay
- Help provide a safe environment for campers
- Model a personal relationship with Jesus
- Assist the Counselor in all aspects of daily camp activities, including but not limited to; serving meals, camper care, cleaning, and more
- Participate in all activities with campers, including water sports, target sports, general recreation activities and more
- Attend all required staff meetings and events
- Actively engage and participate in the CIT program through a godly attitude, words and actions

Camp Crew
Department: Program
The Camp Crew helps provide campers with a safe and fun environment, through serving in a support role for all activities. Responsible for helping create a space where they can take one-step close to Jesus, by trying new activities and facing their fears.
Camp Crew commits to 1-2 week terms with potential for renewal with discussion with supervisor.
Responsibilities include
- Help provide a safe environment for campers
- Model a personal relationship with Jesus
- Assist the program team in all aspects of daily camp activities, including but not limited to; serving meals, camper care, cleaning, and more
- Participate in all activities with campers, including water sports, target sports, general recreation activities and more
- Attend all required staff meetings and events
- Actively engage and participate in the Camp Crew program through a godly attitude, words and actions

Summer Staff Assistant
Department: Program
The Summer Staff Assistant is an entry level position, designed to equip and train high school students entering the workforce. He/she will help provide a safe environment for campers, while modeling a personal relationship with Jesus.
Responsibilities include
Kitchen Assistant Responsibilities:
- Work on a professional culinary team to provide nutritious meals for staff and campers
- Prepare and maintain salad and beverage stations
- Assist cooks with preparation of meals appropriate to skill level
- Assist with serving food to campers and staff
- Assist with dishes and kitchen cleaning assignments
Housekeeping Assistant Responsibilities:
- Serve guests at Carolina Creek Christian Camps with a joyful attitude and posture of hospitality.
- Execute the cleaning of all facilities including dining halls, cabins, meeting rooms, lodges, and offices.
- Assist in the completion of laundry for various housing facilities.
Retail Responsibilities
- Properly use Point Of Sale stations, ensuring proper cash handling procedures, End of Day routines, exchanges, returns, etc.
- Maintain food safe procedure, when serving snacks and drinks to guests
- Assist in opening and closing store procedures, including cleaning and restocking
Aquatics Responsibilities
- Facilitate swimmer safety at all water related activities
- Support slide operations at “The Ocean” waterpark.
- Provide supervision for swimmers and participants, while at aquatics activities
- Be prepared to communicate appropriate expectations of rules to guests, and
- Keep lifeguards and Aquatics Coordinators updated on any potential risk factors
