Activities Lead
As an Activities lead your role is to provide campers the opportunity to enjoy fantastic activities, either high adventure or aquatics, that help build memorable experiences that lead them one step closer to Jesus.
Camp Centers:

Pay Rate:
- $250/week
Responsibilities include:
Serve as a member of the leadership team
Lead all the adventure/rec and aquatics operations
Support and lead the ropes and aquatics coordinators, activity or adv/rec specialists, and lifeguards
Ensure the safety of all participants on all activities
Maintain cleanliness and functionality of all activity sites
Facilitate activities when needed
Facilitate and Oversee all theme events and games (dependent on camp center)
Oversee “turnovers”, i.e. cleaning and preparation of facilities between groups
Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Activities Specialist
The Activities Specialist helps provide campers with a safe and fun environment, where they can take one-step close to Jesus, by trying new activities and facing their fears.
Camp Centers:

- $220/wk for returning staff
Responsibilities include:
Facilitate challenge course, zipline, and other adventure activities with campers grades completed K-5th
Facilitate swimmer safety at all water related activities
Perform water rescues if necessary
Facilitate general recreation including but not limited to target sports, field games and crafts
Safely instruct all activities
Provide general upkeep and cleanliness of all activity sites as well as camp property
Assist the program team in the nightly programs (dependent on camp center)
Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more
Other duties as assigned by supervisor

Staff Lead
The Staff Lead helps foster an authentic and intentional community amongst our summer staff, by providing mentorship, support, encouragement and coaching to the staff.

Responsibilities include:
Serve as a member of the leadership team
Help organize staff and lead staff meetings
Provide leadership for summer staff, and overall communication of expectations
Help build and lead a healthy culture for summer staff, including providing discipline or conflict resolution
Provide a Godly example of selfless service
Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more

Elevate Counselor
Elevate counselors will live in a cabin with a group of campers, where you have the opportunity to build intentional relationships with each camper to help them experience and know the love of Jesus. You are responsible for leading group discussions, facilitating activities, providing a safe environment for their campers and modeling a personal relationship with Jesus.

Responsibilities include:
Live in the cabin with campers during their stay
Supervise campers, and provide loving discipline
Provide spiritual guidance and leadership for campers
Use curriculum teaching times, and share the Gospel with campers
Provide instruction in arts and crafts activities for campers as needed
Facilitate, lifeguard and safely instruct all aquatics activities
Facilitate ropes course and other adventure activities (dependent on camp center)
Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more

Media Specialist
All Media Specialists, whether specializing in videography, photography, or audio visual will get the amazing opportunity to capture and retell the stories of campers experiencing and knowing the love of Jesus.

Responsibilities include:
Capture daily camper activities through photo and video
Edit photos and videos through Adobe Lightroom and Adobe Premiere Pro
Upload Media content online to archives, galleries, and social channels
Produce videos to show during services
Assist in producing promotional media content
Work with the program and marketing team to provide quality audio and visual content
Provide production support for services with lighting, video, and audio

Counselor

Lake Livingston Coordinator
The Lake Livingston Coordinator helps provide a safe and exciting environment for campers to have a memorable time with their counselors and fellow campers, while experiencing something new. Oversee the implementation of Creekside day trips to Lake Livingston, where campers participate in boat rides, swimming and tubing.

Responsibilities include:
Facilitate all activities that take place at Lake Livingston (boating, tubing, games, etc)
Supervise lifeguards and boat drivers while at Lake Livingston
Ensure the safety of all staff and guests while at the Lake Livingston property
Help facilitate campers’ experiences at Lake Livingston on land or while wakeboarding, and tubing
Maintain cleanliness of boats, vehicles, equipment, docking areas, boat shed and bathrooms
Inspect vehicles and equipment daily, and report any safety or maintenance issues promptly
Fill in as needed in other areas when waterfront activities are not active
Assist the program team in the nightly programs
Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more
Drive Carolina Creek Christian Camps vehicles for the purpose of transporting staff

Aquatics Coordinator
The Aquatics coordinator provides supervision to activity staff and counselors to ensure that all guests have an excellent experience at aquatics activities. You will have the opportunity to help campers to take one step closer to Jesus while conquering their fears.

Oversee the daily aquatics operations
Supervise Aquatics Specialists while they are working the elements
Ensure the safety of all participants on all aquatics activities

Maintain aquatics venues, providing general upkeep and cleanliness of all aquatics sites as well as camp property
Fill in as needed at other activity areas when aquatics activities are not active

Program Lead
The Program Lead has the unique opportunity to help campers experience and know the love of Jesus Christ through coordinating theatrical productions and worship experiences.

Responsibilities include:
Serve as a member of the leadership team
Organize and oversee the art programs (i.e. art room, recording studio, dance workshops, etc.)
Support and supervise the Arts Coordinator
Responsible to organize the keynote sessions (speakers, musicians, etc)
Help in overseeing and facilitating all Program Dramas
Build meaningful relationships with campers
Contribute to the overall quality of the camper’s experience

Kitchen Crew / Activities Specialist
As a Kitchen Crew Activities Specialist you will have the opportunity to help create a warm and hospitable environment for campers to enjoy incredible meals and experience amazing activities.

Responsibilities include:
Work on a professional culinary team to provide nutritious meals for staff and campers
Prepare and maintain salad and beverage stations
Assist cooks with preparation of meals appropriate to skill level
Assist with serving food to campers and staff
Assist with dishes and kitchen cleaning assignments
Facilitate adventure activities and swimmer safety with guests of all ages and perform water rescues if necessary
Facilitate general recreation including but not limited to target sports, field games and crafts

Reception Assistant
The Reception Assistant position has the opportunity to be the voice of Carolina Creek to all the guests who call camp. The reception support position provides hospitality, reassurance and information about our facilities and programs.

Responsibilities include:
Assist the Registration department in daily operation of the Guest Relations & Partnerships office, including answering phones, customer service, camper registration, and other registrar duties
Maintain general upkeep of Guest Relations & Partnerships office with the ability to be a self-starter and confidently answer questions
Facilitate other camp activities such as ropes courses, target sports, field games, general recreation, etc. when needed
Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more

Health Aide
Health Aids have the unique role of caring for campers physically and sometimes emotionally while at camp. As a Health Aid you dispense medications, assess injuries and provide medical care, all while being supervised and coached by a licensed medical professional.

Responsibilities include:
Assist in the intake and screening of campers weekly.
Assist in the Camp Health Office alongside camp health officer.
Covers the Camp Health Office during the camp health officer’s time off or when camper is isolated overnight.
Assist in the documentation of camper and staff visits, including signs and symptoms, and any treatment given/recommended.
Ensure that all health areas are cared for and maintained with supplies stocked.
Assist with transportation of campers and staff to health clinics or hospitals.
Perform any other duties as assigned by supervisor.

Boat Driver
Boat Drivers create a memorable experience for campers to laugh, challenge themselves and enjoy God’s creation, while facilitating a fun and safe environment for campers to enjoy being on the water, experiencing nature and tubing.

Position is responsible for the safety of all staff and guests on and around boating and Cable park activities

Fill in as needed in other activity areas when ropes activities are not active
Safely instruct all adventure elements
Assist with maintenance of activity venues, including weed whacking or mowing, as needed
Provide general upkeep and cleanliness of all activity sites as well as camp property
Assist the program team in the nightly programs (dependent on camp center)
Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more

Team Leader

Responsibilities include:
Serve Guest Groups and occasionally live-in with campers during their stay
Supervise campers at activities and meals
Facilitate adventure and recreational activities with campers, including processing for spiritual application
Facilitate water safety at waterfront, pools, and boating activities, providing water rescues when necessary
Occasionally lead or participate in devotionals, and share the Gospel with campers depending on group needs
Assist with general program functions, including serving meals, cleaning, parking, and more

Admin Lead
As the Admin Lead you will have the opportunity to provide an excellent guest experience on opening and closing days throughout the summer. In addition, you will support the camp director with various administrative responsibilities and oversight of the camp snack shack and store.

Work with the Camp Director to meet the varied needs of church leaders
Be available to solve problems and provide resources, showing hospitality to church leaders and parents
Assist with scheduling and manage Summer Staff time off requests
Answer phones and direct parent calls
Oversee and maintain the store and snack shack facilities, including managing the cash-handling and operations of the camp stores
Organize and run the check in or campers on opening and closing day
Gather and file documents needed from campers and staff
Help keep the office and surrounding area clean

The Arts Coordinator helps to provide a unique experience where campers get to explore their creativity and express themselves through new activities. The coordinator will also implement and coordinate arts activities for campers who want to participate in any and all arts activities at Creekside.
