Part-time Receptionist/Registrar
Description

The Receptionist/Registrar will work with the Director of Guest Relations and registration department to help the process of directing phone calls to the right person in the organization. He/she will be able to answer phone calls in a professional manner and work closely with parents and church group leaders. He/she will be an expert on the camper registration software, and will be able to assist parents and leaders as questions arise. He/she will have a general knowledge of the camp program.

  • Must be confidential and discreet when dealing with sensitive information
  • Must possess strong computer skills, and an understanding of google drive and Microsoft Suite of software applications

  • Must be organized and detail oriented
  • Must possess emotional and spiritual maturity
  • Must possess a developed sense of empathy 
  • Must be flexible with an ability to adjust and problem solve in challenging situations

Objectives

Key Job Accountabilites
  • Understand the registration software and help parents and group leaders successfully navigate the registration process
  • Assist in answering questions from parents and churches regarding the camp programs
  • Coordinate with church partners in group registrations, communicate policies and collect paperwork and financial elements in a timely manner
  • Lead tours of camp when needed and effectively communicate the programs we offer to perspective groups 
  • Answer phone calls in a polite and professional manner and direct questions to the right person in the organization
  • Attend all required staff meetings and events 
  • Actively participate in and contribute to the broader camp programs of CCCC
  • Actively engage and participate in the staff community through a godly attitude, words and actions.
Qualifications

Education/Certifications/Licenses:

 

  • Must have a current valid driver’s license.
  • Must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred, but not required.

 

Work Experience:

 

  • Previous Customer Service experience preferred.

Physical Demands

 

The physical environment requires the employee to work both inside and outside in hot and humid conditions. Requires sitting, standing, squatting, stooping, twisting, and ability to lift/carry anywhere from 15 to over 60 lbs.

 

Additional Requirements:

 

  • Adherence to company dress code and professional standards for personal grooming and appearance.
  • Satisfactory completion of background investigation, as well as ability to provide proof of eligibility to work in the United States.

Working Hours
Monday - Friday between 8:30 - 4:30n (general office hours), for approximately 25 hours during non-summer months Hours will increase to approximately 40 hours during summer months and will consist of 4-6 hours on Saturday mornings and 3-5 hours on Sunday afternoons. Saturday and Sundays are closing/opening days at camp and the registrar leads this process.
